Our Saturday Event on Soul and Spirit
Last Saturday, May 25, we began our monthly half days for anyone interested in what horses can bring to their lives. Our focus this time for the overall theme of Challenging Times Call for New Strategies, was to deepen our soul connections and gain a dose of spirit to enliven us for the tasks before us, based on words by Michael Meade.
We humans live stretched between soul and spirit, and sometimes we may lose sight of them, day to day. Playing and working with horses can give us renewal for our soul and spirit.
Carole Dixon published her reflections following our time together and you may enjoy reading them on her blog post on medium.com: She tells of her soul connection to the South, where she grew up, and how her spirit called her years ago to the Pacific Northwest.
