Our Second Saturday at Riding Beyond

Today we are relaxing on a sunny Sunday, feeling the glow of our one day event yesterday for Riding Beyond. Eighteen enthusiastic participants explored the horse/human connection with Gabe, Journey and Mystic.

Three women from the American Cancer Society were among the group.   One said: “I loved coming to the workshop Sat. and will enthusiastically recommend the program. We would never want to take another more recent breast cancer survivor’s slot, tho’ my friend and I (as breast cancer survivors) would both dearly love more intimate experiences with the horses. Good wishes and thank you for this great gift of renewed energy and hope!”

Nurse Navigator from Rogue Medical Center Melanie Dines came, too, enjoying her first personal experience of what she’s heard about from others in her breast cancer support group.
