This Is Why
Last month a friend shared a message about Riding Beyond to her circle of friends. One of her friends replied and this is what she had to say.
This is why we are inspired to offer Riding Beyond:
This is really great she is doing this because i tell you it is beyond the beyond difficult to go through trying to make it through such a traumatic diagnosis that comes out of the blue; that is one thing in itself. Then there are all the treatments, surgeries and recovery from all of this. and in my case it was not at all finished just because i had no more cancer. Yes, many people are left with a deep emotional wound from it all, but in my situation i was left with a condition that consumes my entire left side in more ways that i could ever be able to share, yet i am left completely on my own. The doctors did what they were taught to do. But i have been virtually left on my own to figure out how to recover with no help from anyone. and trust me i have been everywhere seeking help. There are no support groups for people with my condition. Thank God i have such a will to live and such a strong life force or there is no way i would still be here today. I am not seeking a pity party, i am taking the time to write this and perhaps you can pass this on to your friend who is taking time out of her life to make this important program and create something wonderful for the aftermath of such an arduous journey.”
