A Morning by Julie Galloway
A Morning in the Life of a Therapy Horse
One morning while munching on breakfast I looked up and saw a friend walk by.
Ah, time for work, breakfast can wait.
Together we walked down the hill enjoying the crisp morning.
Now in the paddock it was time meet another stranger so I stood patiently eventhough these experiences were sometimes a little unpleasant.
As often happens this one plopped unceremoniously on my back.
Ah, well, it was work and after all and usually by the end of the session things would improve remarkably.
And everything did indeed improve and after many pats, scratches, compliments and walks around the paddock I felt satisfied with my success.
After all, I was in the company of good friends.
How fortunate could I be?
