Celebrating Our 2016 Season

Yesterday evening, Sunday, August 28, 2016, we celebrated our 2016 year with Riding Beyond with a gathering of participants, supporters and volunteers. Besides honoring key volunteers: Merrily Curtis, Jenn Lieber, Rosa Lee Maple, Caroline Jost, Susan Bennett, and Debbie Hansen-Bernard, we had an extraordinarily abundant potluck. Together we inscribed river stones with images that held our memories and highlights of this past year. Then we created a mandala with those and other materials gathered from the Living Earth and claimed promises for the coming year: more women, more funding, ripples of the work going out to the world, and more. Mystic was her usual self eager to meet and greet, and Haywire made an appearance to bow to everyone and give Debbie a hug, as we all cheered in gratitude for her extraordinary support of Riding Beyond at Little Creek Ranch.
