I have gotten so much from my time spent here with the horses, especially Mystic. I’ve never felt such a connection with a horse in my life. Since I grew up around horses it surprised and amazed me how a loving, sweet, gentle horse can make me feel so safe & uplifted

I truly appreciate the chance to get to a part of the whole Riding Beyond experience. It was such a gift to immediately connect with Trish and all the great volunteers. It was great practice for me to receive their help as they pushed me around the grounds. Receiving is not always easy for me, so to fully let go and let everyone help me is something that is not taken lightly. It was a honor to get connect to this tribe of warm hearted, powerful women.

I was able to feel safe and trust as they worked as a team and pushed me up the steep hill into the arena. It was also liberating that once in the arena I could push myself around and meet Mystic on my own terms for our magical times together.

I gained confidence and a great sense of well being when Mystic was so friendly. It felt like true acceptance and love from her being sent back to me. I’ll never forget her nuzzling me and us being forehead to forehead with one another.

I had been really feeling the need to have a connection with like minded women in person. I have quite a large group of women from around the world I meet with regularly virtually, but face to face is what I’d been craving. So it was such a great surprise to get the chance to participate and feel so comfortable with everyone, especially while I’m still recuperating from my cancer treatment and not feeling my best. I sense a big surge of getting my strength back.

I truly enjoyed the poems and the stories shared afterwards. I had a lot of fun and will always treasure my time spent here in this gorgeous setting. I’m still processing the awesome experience and feel like I’ve been touched in deep, holistic and profound ways. I’m forever changed in a very soul uplifting way. Thank you!!
